They come with a rich background in competitive play and coaching, having nurtured talents at all levels – from budding enthusiasts to professional athletes. Their experience is your gateway to elevating your game.
Anthony is currently the head coach of the Blue Crabs post grad team. Previously he has instructed at Tommy Hutton Baseball Academy, Becky Dent Baseball Academy, and IMG Academy.
In addition, he played and coached baseball at Lynn University where he had the opportunity to be coached by former New York Yankee Jim Lyttle.
Enrique De Los Rios is a professional baseball player from San Antonio De Los Altos, Venezuela now residing in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Enrique began playing baseball at the age of 9 and was signed at the age of 17 as a pitcher by the Chicago Cubs. Enrique was a pitcher in the Cubs Organization from 2013 through 2019. During the winter seasons, Enrique was a starting pitcher for Leones de Caracas in the Venezuelan league. He was scheduled to play in Canada for the 2020 season but was delayed due to Covid. In 2012, he represented Venezuela in the World Baseball Championships and in 2018 he was recognized with the Top Athlete Award in San Antonio De Los Altos.
Since 2020, Enrique has concentrated on sharing his love of baseball with younger players in both Virginia & South Carolina. Last year, Enrique was a guest coach and instructor for the Mt Vernon (VA) Patriots 12U travel team. He was also an assistant Varsity baseball coach at Myrtle Beach High School. This year, Enrique is the pitching coach for the Myrtle Beach High School JV baseball team.
Sam Ryan is a standout softball pitcher with a distinguished career spanning collegiate and international play. In her 2021–22 season at Chattanooga State Community College, she dominated the mound with a remarkable 40–8 win-loss record, an exceptionally low 1.33 ERA, and over 300 strikeouts. Her outstanding performance earned her the TCCAA Pitcher of the Year award twice and All-American honors, underscoring her elite status at the junior college level.
Internationally, Ryan has proudly represented Canada. In 2019, she pitched for the Canadian National Team’s U-19 squad, helping the team secure two bronze medals in international competition. She elevated her game further by joining the senior Canadian National Team in 2022 and 2023, contributing to their qualification for the World Cup, a testament to her ongoing development and commitment on the world stage.
As a senior at the University of Louisiana in 2025, Ryan appeared in over 17 games, showcasing both athletic and academic excellence. She earned Academic All-District honors while delivering a team-best 2.93 ERA, six wins, and pitching 76⅓ innings. Her leadership and consistent performance made her a cornerstone of the pitching staff.
Following her collegiate career, Ryan has stepped into a leadership role as the new head varsity softball coach at Atlantic Collegiate Academy, where she brings her deep experience, competitive mindset, and international perspective to develop the next generation of athletes.
Coach Jimmy Johnson is a former collegiate pitcher from Ohio with certification from the National Pitching Association. With nearly a decade of experience coaching and developing pitchers, he specializes in the modern art of pitching and arm health.
Coach Johnson’s training emphasizes simplified mechanics that enhance pitch control, movement, and velocity variation. His approach goes beyond physical technique—he is dedicated to instilling a strong mental game in his athletes. By fostering a positive mindset and strategic thinking, he helps pitchers build confidence and achieve success on the mound.
Nick Dionisio brings a focused expertise behind the plate, backed by two years of collegiate catching experience. His foundation is strengthened by training with some of the industry’s top catching coaches, sharpening both his technical skills and game insight.
Nick further expanded his impact by serving as a catching coordinator for Dionisio Baseball in North Carolina, where he coached youth through high school levels. His hands-on instruction emphasizes fundamentals, game strategy, and confidence-building for aspiring catchers.
Coach Kinney is a former Major League pitcher with 13 years of professional playing experience (including 5 seasons in the Big Leagues with Cleveland, San Diego, Detroit and Oakland). He has 28 years coaching experience at youth, high school and collegiate levels. He has been providing personalized instruction in the area since 2012; founded The Pitch USA in 2013 and is Certified by the National Pitching Association (NPA). His vast baseball playing and coaching experience combined with the most up-to-date researched based instruction and conditioning separates him from the typical instructor.
NPA training address the unique needs of rotational athletes by focusing on biomechanical efficiency and functional strength to maximize health and performance. Coach Kinney’s goals for his students are:

Coach Kinney recommends regular 60 minutes sessions for those 11 years old and up; (for those 10 and under sessions of 30 minutes may be sufficient)
